It’s a start of a new birth-year, a new cycle in being alive. Each birthday, I realize while I don’t feel older, I do feel wiser and more certain of certain things. Today, it’s time to let go of certain things. This year, I will never again be someone’s back-up plan. I know what I’m worth, and if anyone else cannot see that, or they are too afraid to see that, it’s their loss. Not mine. And it stops today. Life lesson learned.
